Martha Sue Garmon Barfield
Mrs. Martha Sue Garmon Barfield, age 70, of Franklin passed away December 26, 2019.
Funeral services for Mrs. Barfield will be conducted Monday December 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Stutts Funeral Home with the Rev. Lynn Janney officiating. Interment will follow in Ridgeway Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will accept guests at Stutts Funeral Home Monday afternoon from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service.

Mrs. Barfield was born December 2, 1949 in Fulton County to the late Amos Allen Garmon and Neva Celena Brooks Garmon. She was a Methodist by faith.
Her family was at the center of her life. One of her greatest joys was having a ladies’ day out to go shopping with her girls. She loved to spend time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. In her free time she enjoyed going fishing and camping.
Survivors include: her husband, Keith Barfield of Franklin; one daughter, Annette Deters (Bob) of Auburn, GA; one son, Buzz Dockery (Connie) of Franklin; six grandchildren: Kera Robinson (Patrick), Jereme Howell (Kelsey), Mikayla Dockery, Celena Dockery (Randy), Jesse Tindall, and Daniel Dockery; three great-grandchildren: Bentley Robinson, Aurora Robinson, and Sophie Tindall; two sisters; two brothers; and a number of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Lesley Tindall; two sons: James Dockery and Timmy Barfield; and one granddaughter, Kayla Barfield.
